Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival

Meet on arrival at Yangon Airport and transfer to hotel for check in then followed by sightseeing of some major highlights in Yangon : Sule Pagoda, Maha Bandoola Park with Independence Monument, located at hte heart of the city, Chaukhtatgyi reclining Buddha image and the 2,500 years old magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda sheathed in 11 tons of pure gold and 4,350 diamonds weighing 1800 carats! At sunset, the Shwedagon offers visitor a spectacular show of lights and shadows. Overnight at Hotel

Day 2 Yangon - Bago - Yangon

After breakfast, excursion to Bago, a remarkable day to be free from buzaling Yangon.
The ancient Mon Capital Bago is situated 80 Kilometers northeast of Yangon. Along the way to Bago, you'll enjoy the countryside atmospheric views and after driving for 1 1/2 hour, arrive at Bago. Sightseeing tour highlights include Kyakhat Wine monastery where you will see 1200 over Buddhist monks having their merit lunch with total silence by 10:30 am.

Then, a worthy visit to Shwemawdaw Pagoda, a pagoda that has almost the same age as Shwedagon but built in Mon style.

Then a short visit to Shwethalyaung, the most beautiful Reclining Buddha; On the way back to Yangon visit the Allied War Cemetery at Htaukkyant if desired or a short stop at Shwe Nyaung Bin ( Golden Banyan tree ) where you’ll will see strange activities of car owners. Overnight in Yangon. (B)


Day 3 Departure with evening flight

Before leaving Myanmar you'll be taken for morning sightseeing tour of Yangon. Tour includes visits to Botataung Pagoda, Gaba Aye ( World Peace ) pagoda and Mahapasana Cave.

Then transfer to Yangon International Airport for departure. (B)
