Phnompenh-Siemriep-Saigon-Hoian-Hue-Hanoi-Vientaine-Luangprabang

Day 1: Arrive Phnom Penh

After a arrive Phnom Penh, pick up and transfer to check in hotel. Phnom Penh. We will start touring around Phnom Penh. We will visit to the Royal Palace & Silver Pagoda, the Independence Monument and  Toul Sleng genocide museum. Overnight in Phnom Penh

Day 2: Phnom Penh - Siem Riep (B)

In the morning we departure to the airport to take the flight to Siem Riep.

Continue to visit Siem Riep, the base for visiting the world famous temples of the ancient city Angkor: South Gate of Angkor Thom, famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the largest as well as most complete structure of Angkor Wat which was built by King Suryavarman II in the middle of the 12th century over a period of about 30 years. In the afternoon we visit the Ta Promh, Angkor Wat and view sunset from Phnom Bakheng. Overnight in Siem Riep

Day 3: Temples of Angkor (B)

Full day exploring the wondrous ancient ruins with the Banteay Srei, Banteay Samre and Victory Gate: Thommanon, Chau Say Tevoda, Ta Prohm, Ta Keo and Banteay Kdei. Overnight in Siem Riep

Day 4: Siem Reap-Saigon (B)

Transfer to the Siem Reap Airport for departure flight to Saigon. Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to hotel for check in. In the afternoon, enjoy the sightseeings in the city. We come to see the Reunification Palace (also known as Independence Palace). It is one of the most fascinating sights in Sai Gon and was once the symbol of the South Vietnamese government. We continue to China Town and Ben Thanh market for shopping activities

Day 5: Melkong Delta (B/L)

The lusciously green and beautiful Mekong Delta is the southernmost region of Vietnam. It was formed by sediments deposited by the Mekong River, one of the great rivers of the world and known to the Vietnamese as Song Cuu Long, river of the Nine Dragons. The Mekong originates high in the Tibetan plateau, flowing 4500 km through China, Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, and Cambodia before it reaches Vietnam as its final gate to the South Chinese Sea. A system of tangled river streams and canals has made the Delta a real water world.

You will depart from the hotel at 7:30 am. We drive to Vinh Long and enjoy a boat trip along the rivers narrow waterways, overhung with dense vegetation. We will have the opportunity to try exotic fruits in one of the many orchards. For lunch we serve the local delicacy - an Elephant’s ear fish. We continue with a visit to Caibe floating market. Back to Saigon

Day 6: Saigon-Danang-Hoian (B)

Free at leisure until transfer to airport to take flight to Danang. Upon arrival, transfer to Hoian and relax for the rest of the day

Day 7: Hoian-Hue (B)

In the morning, have a tour around to visit the Ancient town of Hoian. Then we leave Hoian to proceed to Hue. Upon arrival, check in hotel, then visit the Imperial Citadela and Dong Ba market

Day 8: Hue-Hanoi (B)

In the morning, boat trip along the Perfum River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda. We continue the visit to Tu Duc tomb before heading to airport to take flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for check in. Then enjoy 1 hour cyclo tour to explore the Old Quarter and enjoy the shopping activities. In the evening, enjoy Water Puppet show performance

Day 9: Hanoi-Halong (B, L)

After breakfast we cross the Red River towards Halong. The three-hours-drive stops en route at Hong Ngoc, where we will have time for a drink and see local people manufactoring different kinds of handicrafts.

In Ha Long Bay we will board a junk for a fantastic cruise through Ha Long Bay (approx. five hours).

We will enjoy lunch with fresh catched sea food while having a cool drink before we leave the boat to see the Heavenly Palace Cave, one of the highlights around the bay.

Day 10: Halong-Half-day Hanoi city tour (B)

In the morning, we return to Hanoi and continue with half-day excursion in Hanoi. We will visit the Historical Museum, the One-Pillar-Pagoda and the historical Temple of Literature. The rest of the day is at leisure

Day 11: Hanoi-Vientaine (B)

Transfer to the airport to take flight to Vientaine. Upon arrival, you are met and transferred to your centrally located hotel. After a short rest, we set our orientation short Walking Tour to Lao Capital, strolling around the city distance, and observing the sunset by the Mekong Riverside and late evening. Seeing the city lifestyle of local Lao people. Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 12: Vientiane-Luang Prabang (B)

AM:    Breakfast, we start to visit the major sights of the capital; including the oldest Wat Sisaket with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. On the way to the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, we stop to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph. From there, we visit the Central Market call ‘Morning Market’ where you can find the antique items for collection, well handmade textile and gift away items.

PM: We spend the rest of this day touring Lao capital, visiting the National Museum (Revolutionary Museum) where varied antique items and legend of Laos’s history fighters and leaders displace from the ancient times to new revolution period. We then board a short flight to Luang Prabang, which is perhaps the best - preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. UNESCO registered 1995 as World Cultural Heritage City. The tranquility and charm of this town with its splendid natural scenery and cultural sights make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Asia. On arrival, we transfer you to hotel. After a short rest, we are strolling around to see the Street Night Market, where you can find the lovely collection and handmade textile by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang, we then climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as viewing a beautiful panorama sunset over this once royal ancient city and the Mekong River. Overnight in Luang Prabang

Day 13: Luang Prabang – Pak Ou cave (B)

Breakfast, we enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple of impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai, Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represent the classical architecture of Luang Prabang temple. We then board a boat embarking upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a beautiful view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the local rice wine. On return, we overland local villages at Ban Xiengmene and Ban Chan continue seeing the royal temple at Wat Longkhoun, which once belongs to royal family patronage and near by Sackarine Caves. We cross to city and take a short drive to Ban Phanom, well known for its hand weaving. Overnight in Luang Prabang

Day 14: Luang Prabang-Departure (B)

Early this morning you may want to wake up early and participate in the daily early morning ritual of saffron-clad monks with their black Alms-giving bowls being given offerings from the local people, including the ubiquitous sticky rice. This is the highlight of tour prior goodbye to this charming city.

Breakfast, we then visit The National Museum at the former Royal Palace, which displays a lovely collection of the artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through the last sovereign. We continue visit the silver smith’s and Fine Arts School and the Central Market are not to be missed. We visit these sights before we catch a flight goodbye to this ancient city
