Important Note.

1. Pax from room No. 1 will walk through Room No. 2 when going to the shower and toilet.
   
2. Generator for air conditioner is rather noisy in the nighttime.
   
3. Most of the meals will be served at restaurants during or after the sightseeing but there are some certain meals need to be on the train. Although Dining cars are available on most of the train, quality and hygiene of the foods are very bad so we recommend to have the assistant on the VIP coach cook for the clients. Our guide will assist and supervise him to make sure of Hygiene.
   
4. Our guide will sleep on a folding bed in Room No.3. The assistant sleeps in the kitchen.

DETAILED ITINERARY & PRICE FOR TRAIN TOUR Using VIP coach

Arrived to Yangon International Airport, transfer to Hotel for check-in. Free at leisure till lunch time. After lunch, afternoon sightseeing for Visit Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda ( Reclining Buddha ), Sule Pagoda ( Heart of the City ) and colonial building, Bo Ta Htaung Pagoda, visit the 2,500 years old magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda sheathed in 11 tons of pure gold and 4,350 diamonds weighing 1800 carats! Dinner at outside local restaurant and overnight at Summit Park View Hotel.

After breakfast at hotel, Visit Naga glass factory and Bogyoke market, Lunch at a local restaurant.

Transfer to railway station.

5:00 h (special chartered engine ) departure to Kyaukpadaung. 15:00 h arrival Kyaukpadaung. proceed to Popa Mountain by car and visit there. an extinct volcano, which is the abode of Nats (Spirits). On top of the mountain, there are monasteries, pagodas and shrines in different style.
18:00 h Then drive to Bagan ( 1 h driving ).

Overnight at Thande Hotel ( Old Bagan ).

After breakfast at the hotel, morning visit to the Shwezigon Pagoda a prototype of later Myanmar stupa. Then to Wetkyi-in Gubyaukkyi Temple with fine mural paintings of Jataka scenes.

Afternoon sightseeing tour continues with visits to lacquerware industry where you can study traditional Myanmar lacquerware making, Manuha Temple with gigantic Buddha images, a captive king's impression of life in prison; Nanpaya, an Early-style temple with the finest stone carvings. Although it has spots lights installed, it would be safer to bring your own touch as electricity supply can be shut-off from time to time.Lunch at outside local restaurant.

In the evening you will be visiting the Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece resembling a Greek Cross.

08:09 h arrival Pyin Oo Lwin. The town is over 1,100 meters in elevation, it is located 60 km to the east of Mandalay. It enjoys cool and pleasant weather the whole year round. Sightseeing by Horse carriage include the Pwe Kauk WaterFall, National Kandawgyi Garden, Maha Ant Htoo Kan Tha Pagoda, colonial buildings , the Chinese Temple and stroll around one of the Shan village near railways station to see village life. Lunch at the famous Botanical garden.

16:25 h ( 132 DOWN ) departure to Mandalay

20:20 h arrival Mandalay, transfer to hotel. We will leave our saloon car here to be sent to Thazi by next morning's train( 2 Down )

Dinner and overnight at Mandalay Swan Hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, morning sightseeing begins with Shwenandaw Monastery, noted for its exquisite wood carvings; Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as the world's Biggest Book for its stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures. Continue to the famous Mahamuni Pagoda, one of the most sacred Buddha Image in Mandalay. Then a short visit to marble, bronze and Gold foil making cottage industries. (Our saloon car will be sent to Thazi with the morning train 2 down (dep from Mandalay at 7:15 and arrives at Thazi 11:51 ) . to wait for us there, clients will go to Thazi by the bus they use for SS).
