Dear Colleagues,

The Department of Immigration will stop issuing "visa on arrival" to foreign tourist at Yangon and Mandalay International Airports with effect from 1^st September 2010. Therefore the visitors can no longer get VOA at the airport. So please note that for now, all tourists and business travellers will have to apply in advance for a visa at Myanmar embassies. Even the usual "pre-arranged visa on arrival" which is we used to do before takes much longer time now so we do not encourage to use this service at the moment.
