Myanmar is one the country on the would that stands proudly for its numerous rich culture. In Myanmar there are over 135 tribal groups living on the plane as well as on the hills. Among them Naga tribes are spread throughout the northwest hills of Myanmar, along the Indian border. While each tribe is unique and certain aspects of tribal culture differ, they share many common beliefs and practices.

One such shared practice is the annual Naga New Year Festival. Trives from throughout Nagaland – both on the India side of the border and in Myanmar- come toghther to celebrate this event. Although the celebration centers around January 15, the festivaities starts as soon as the first tribe arrives at the Festival site, which is often several days before the official New Year date.

Therefore we offer this lively Naga New Year to our esteem clients though living standard is basic in compared to other tourist areas. But we ensure for proper care and hygienic food throughout the your stay.

Our suggested program:

YANOGN – MANDALY – LAHE – KHAMTI – MANDALAY – YANG ON ( 5D / 4N )

Day 1. Meeting & pick up from the place you live in Yang on & transfer to Yanogn airport. Depart Yanogn for Mandalay by Air Mandalay domestic flight. Then depart Mandalay for Khamti ( UB, Myanmr Airways ). Drive to Lahe and overnight.

Day 2. Whole day enjoy the Naga performance. Overnight at Lahe.

Day 3. Enjoying Naga New Year Festival. Overnight at Lahe.

Day 4. Drive back to Khamti from Lahe. Overnight at Khamti

Day 5. Fly to Mandalay by Myanmar Airways. Depart Mandalay for further extended tour or back to Yang on. End of service.

But there is only one draw back for this beautiful program, as higher class domestic airlines do not operate to Lahe, we have to use local state owned airline that cancel from time to time.
